Guiding SSE to 2030 and beyond
After 12 years as Chief Executive, Alistair Phillips-Davies is retiring from SSE and handing over to Martin Pibworth. In an interview with both men, Alistair and Martin reflect on SSE's performance over the past year and consider how we will continue our clean energy mission.


Performance highlights
We met our financial objectives in 2024/25, with our diversified business mix offsetting the impact of weather and market conditions. We invested £2.9bn in infrastructure for net zero and continued to focus on our number one value: safety.
