This Trading Statement reiterates the financial outlook provided in our full-year results statement on 28 May 2026 and provides a performance update for Q1 ahead of today’s Annual General Meeting.

In a new report, combining in-depth public opinion polling with data analysis, SSE finds that building homegrown electricity infrastructure and then using more of that electricity to power homes, businesses and industry will drive down energy bills while ensuring consumers are protected from price spikes caused by global events.

Ireland assumes the Presidency of the Council of the European Union for the next six months.
